Zone Rework

  • The early areas have been redesigned.
  • Removed unnecessarily wide sections; replaced with a single main route and side paths for farming.
  • Core item placements remain unchanged.
  • The portal to the graveyard zone has been removed.


Twisted Forest Changes

  • Some areas are now blocked off to prevent unintended traversal.
  • Added objects to indicate the main route for easier navigation.
  • Adjusted parts of the structure and lighting effects.

Desert Underground Caves Changes

  • The Desert Underground Caves have been reworked.


New Unique Spirit Abilities

  • Focus: Press the Tab key to enter Focus Mode.
  • White Tiger Fang (White Tiger Spirit): While focused, press the attack key to unleash a flurry of kicks that finish by knocking enemies away.
  • Soul Sever (Reaper’s Spirit): While focused, press the attack key to vanish and reappear with a forward slash. You are invincible while vanished.

New Traits & Fragments

  • 2–3 new trait shards have been added for each ability. (Abilities without traits will receive them in a future update.)
  • Some shards and abilities are sold by Unbaek.
  • Others can be found in-game.
  • Sound and VFX for shards are temporary and may change.
  • Shard icons now display the associated ability icon for clarity.

Internal System Refactoring

  • Reworked internal status effect systems.
  • Refactored the portal system that links different times and spaces.
  • Save point information now uses tag-based search.
  • Due to these changes, all abilities have been reworked internally.

Portal Updates

  • Portals now project the world beyond differently.
  • Weather and time control through portals has been updated.
  • The loading screen when entering/exiting a portal is now conditional:
  • If no loading is required, the loading screen will be skipped. (Experimental)

Other Gameplay Improvements

  • Changed the soul grave VFX that appears when the player dies.
  • Lock-on camera no longer targets objects between the player and the camera.
  • Lock-on now checks distance only for targets the player is facing; if too far, it switches or cancels automatically.

AI Adjustments

  • All AI stats have been recalibrated.
  • AI stats now auto-scale based on level.
  • The Troll boss is smarter.
  • The Wolf boss has updated patterns:
    • Rush and Jump patterns removed and replaced.
    • Two new patterns added.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Wolf boss repeated the same action under certain conditions.
  • Improved stability when dragging and dropping items.
  • Fixed many issues caused by the refactor.
  • Fixed an issue where damage-over-time wouldn’t kill the player.
  • Fixed the reservoir gate not remembering its open state.
  • Fixed the pressure plate elevator playing its sound multiple times.

Other Changes

  • Removed mail system due to security concerns.
  • Changed internal animation handling.
  • Reduced the default number of projectiles generated by Guided Crystal.
  • Impale now moves along the ground.
  • Reduced Impale base duration.
  • Spring has ended — Summer has arrived.
  • Added hidden breakable walls.
  • Brightness adjustments in caves and other dark areas now use post-processing.
  • Certain dummy objects at the hub now restore player health.
