25.05.17 Update & Announcements

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the damage boost after a successful dodge was not being applied correctly.
  • Fixed a bug where AI behavior trees would stop running after entering an execution state.
  • Resolved an issue where hit animations played regardless of internal monster state.
  • Fixed a problem where SP regeneration was blocked until the end of the Poison Cloud ability.
  • Fixed a bug where exchanged rewards were not being saved properly in the reward system.
  • Resolved an issue where the exchange list broke when reopening the exchange UI after claiming a reward.
  • Fixed a bug where key items remained in the inventory after being handed over.


Changes

  • When the game forces minimum settings due to low system specs, the maximum frame rate is now capped at 30 FPS.


New Item

  • Ring of Sand Shell
    • After taking damage, incoming damage is reduced by m% for n seconds.(Has a cooldown of t seconds.)
  • Brand of Remorse
    • Has an n% chance to deal m% damage per second for t seconds. 
    • Damage is reduced to one-third against bosses.
    • Enemies killed by this effect drop n% more souls.


New Abilities

  • Spiral of Sand
    • Pulls in nearby enemies and deals earth damage.
    • Can be canceled by pressing the button again.
    • Enemies pulled into a certain range will be knocked down.
  • Unburning Flame
    • Throws a fireball formed from divine energy.
    • Prioritizes locked-on targets.
  • Crystallize
    • Crystals form on your body when activated.
    • Reduces attack speed and increases resource costs.
    • Increases final damage dealt.
    • Can be toggled off by activating it again.


New NPC: Lo-un

  • A gentle turtle NPC who sells basic abilities.
  • Bring him specific items found throughout the world to unlock new ones.


System Update: Recovery Crystal Rework

  • The number of Life/Divine Crystals granted at the start has been reduced from 3/3 to 2/1.
    • The initial amount of Recovery Crystals may be adjusted based on your feedback.

Previous

  • Players chose to enhance either Life or Divine Crystals, using Vitality Crystals to increase their quantity and recovery power.

New

  • Vitality Crystals now enhance both Life and Divine Crystals' recovery power simultaneously.
  • The number of crystals is now handled as a combined total.


New Feature via Fenrix: Crystal Redistribution

  • You can now reallocate your Life and Divine Crystals by speaking to Fenrix.
  • When loading an old save, the system will automatically attempt to migrate to the new system.
  • After resting once at a save point, your previous upgrades will be recalculated and converted into Life Crystals.
  • You can then speak to Fenrix to redistribute them however you'd like.

Miscellaneous

  • Tested on a laptop with Ryzen 7 4800H + RTX 3060 (115W TGP)
  • (Performance: 30 FPS, Medium settings, Lumen enabled.)
